1) I never thought of it that way, but it is a completely reasonable way of thinking about it. It doesn't change my opinion, I still view it as a symbol of racism and that it shouldn't be flied.
2) I do feel that his opinion is correct.
3) Because people still fly the flag. Because of this, people complain about it.
