Essay or something.

Physical education should be a mandatory part of the school day. Just take a look at these statistics. The obesity rate of children ages six to eleven is up to nearly eighteen percent. This is unacceptable and must be dealt with. However, some children may not be able to engage in physical education, due to physical disabilities. This would be a rare case though.
There are several reasons why I believe that children should be forced to do physical education. First, as stated in the opening paragraph, children ages six to eleven have an eighteen percent obesity rate. These children have an increased risk of many things, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, and sleep apnea.
Once you get the habit of exercising ingrained into their heads, they will want to exercise. This is true of many things, including exercise. Just think of something that you've been doing your whole life. Would you have trouble breaking that habit? I think you would.
In conclusion, I think that every student should have to take physical education everyday. This would help with many things. Students would have higher self esteem and be less prone to bullying. They would also lead happier, healthier lives. They would be less at risk for several kinds of diseases later in their life. This wouldn't only benefit themselves, but they could live longer and possibly see their grandchilden. Physical Education should be an important part of a student's day and should be taken everyday.
